A word on avionics:  Just ten years ago this avionics stack was the "dream stack" (...and remains so for me...).  Fly with confidence that this is more than capable as a reliable hard IFR machine with King Silver Crown avionics including RNAV and a 2-axis, fully coupled autopilot w/yaw damper.  The S-Tec 60-2 is first rate and still remains on the market as a new installation option for today's new aircraft.  There is redundancy in the panel with dual glideslopes, dual power sources, dual airspace/airport databases and dual vacuum systems.  Almost any airport in the country will have at least one approach this plane can handle: ILS, VOR/VOR-DME/LDA/ Backcourse/ NDB/ RNAV/or GPS.  This aircraft includes the proven ARGUS 7000 MFD coupled to the GPS and HSI whereby your situational awareness will never wain.   The ARGUS has two optional features installed: a slaved RMI and a WX-10 Stormscope.  The Argus's exhaustive airport/navaid/airspace database is updateable through ROM (read only memory) from Eventide.  See their great web site for all the features of this CRT display.  http://www.eventide.com/argus/argpicts.htm

GPS
The Northstar M3 Approach IFR Certified GPS is known in the flying community as one of the easiest GPS's to operate.  Waypoints are plotted on the moving map as well as your final approach course so you can see when you will intercept final.

Shadin DigiData
5819M has a Shadin Fuel Totalizer/Airdata computer.  This item still sells new and is a great feature to any aircraft.  It will compute your TAS, DA, PA, OAT, TAT, NM per gal., endurance thru a link to the GPS, etc., thereby easing the pilot's workload.  Visit Shadin's website for details: http://www.shadin.com/products/airdata/digidata/index.html

Dre Symphone 468
The incredible features of the DRE Syphone 468 intercom:
